JUNE BOOK REVIEWS

So I haven't read as many books as I normally would with being so busy with getting LEXIA ready for publishing... It's nearly ready!!

Anyway here are the books I read in June and the review I gave them :)

1 Star = I just couldn't get into it.
2 Star = Just readable.
3 Star = Enjoyed it but it didn't consume my every thought.
4 Star = Great Read, Go buy it!
5 Star = Amazing, Who needs sleep with a book this good!
5 + Stars = Consumed my every thought! Now I have a 'book hangover' I want to live in this world!!!

Heart of Obsidian By Nalini Singh
Rated: 5+ Stars

I have been counting down the days for this one to come out! I am a psy-changling addict!! I must have read the whole series at least 3 times now!

And Nalini did not disappoint with this one! She's done it again, the second I opened it, I couldn't put it down, takeout was ordered for tea and who needs sleep!  There is also a question answered in this one that we have all being dying to find out... Who is the ghost??? Well you will have to read it to find out!
This book is one of the darkest books in the series and Nalini made me fall in love with a character I never liked before.  There was truly some heart breaking moments and of course the war that has been brewing over the last few books seems likely to occur.  This book is well worth the read and if you haven't read the series! Go get slave to sensation NOW!

Sacrifice (A fall for me Prequel)By K.A.LAST
Rated: 3 Stars
I was given a free copy of this novella in return for an honest review by Goodreads group Lovers of Paranormal.

I liked how this book started out, jumping straight into action but then I found it lacked excitement and I struggled to keep reading through the scenes in the castle. After the castle I found myself drawn back into the book and wondering what would happen next, but it ended as it just started to get good. I would def go read Fall for Me though.

Over all I liked it but think if I'd read Fall for Me first I would have known the characters and maybe understood a bit more.

Having My Baby by Theresa Ragn.
Rated: 4 Stars

I read this book in an afternoon, I have had this sat on my kindle shelf waiting for a night when my hubby was away and I needed a good romantic book to keep me company. I don't normally read romance books unless they have paranormal elements but then every now and then a book catches my eye. Like this one.
I really enjoyed this book, I loved that it started out from Derricks point of view, a hot, hot football player *swoon*
This book is funny, romantic and really enjoyable, I love books that just make you feel good and smile and of course with a Happily Ever After... Who doesn't!

Worth a read for sure :)

ACID By Emma Pass.
Rated: 5 Star.

I found this on Booktopia while I was ordering my copy of Heart of Obsidian.  I am very guilty of judging a book by its cover and this one jumped out at me, kick arse woman on the front! Whats not to love?

I really enjoyed this one and read it in a few days, would have been shorter if I didn't have to do the final edit reviews on my own book!  It starts straight out with Jenna Strong in prison and she's one kick arse girl! I don't know about you but I love books with strong female characters that let nothing stand in their way.
This book is non stop action, Emma has a great writing style and I will definitely be looking out for more books coming out by her.
If you like YA Thrillers then this is for you!

That's it for now, I'll be back soon with an update on LEXIA as I type it's being formatted for ebook so with any luck I will make the 27th July for release!!!!   I AM SOO EXCITED

Happy Reading

R x
